The right candidate understands roofing inside and out, has been a roofer, a roofing salesman, and is good with logistics, money, and accuracy. Minimum 2 years experience required, with the ability to manage up to 20 active roofing projects every week.

Categorize and record transactions daily by project for job costing. Monthly bank reconciliation and financial reporting. Manage leading and trailing financial reporting for payment pipeline business intelligence. AP and AR tracking and management. Manage salesman draws and commission schedules. Manage payroll for company staff. Manage new hire onboarding, and termination offboarding clerical processes. Monthly quarterly, and annual filing of taxes, insurance, licenses and other compliance matters.

Requirements: At least 2 years doing AP, AR, payroll, and bookkeeping activities. Must be very detail-oriented and by the book. Understands GAAP and adheres to them strongly. Understands monthly and state filing requirements for taxes and insurance. Experience in the construction or roofing industry highly preferred to have experience in job costing. Very experienced in Quickbooks, Excel, and Word.
